MediMoney, a startup medical finance broker, needed a scalable, reliable way to process applications across multiple lenders with different requirements, initially with a single lender and as the business scales. Their process needed to avoid reliance on spreadsheets, emails, and manual tracking, which would make it difficult to maintain consistency, monitor progress, or deliver a smooth experience for applicants. As volumes grow, fragmented workflows would increase administrative burden, created unnecessary delays, and limited visibility across the full application pipeline.

The business required a secure, centralised digital platform that could streamline customer intake, reduce manual handling, and give staff a clear, real-time view of application status. They needed a system that would support their broker model, improve operational efficiency, assist customers and scale with demand - without introducing rigid or lender-specific constraints.

Solution

We built a dual-purpose digital platform that streamlines customer applications and MediMoney’s internal workflows. Customers can submit loan requests through a secure, user-friendly portal, provide required information, and track progress without relying on email exchanges. This ensures applications enter the process consistently and reduces back-and-forth for the support team.

Behind the scenes, the platform gives MediMoney’s team a structured environment to review applications, validate details, and follow up cases with the appropriate lender. Designed to expand to multiple lenders with different requirements, ensuring applications are complete and correctly prepared before submission. Automated notifications, clear status tracking, and operational dashboards provide real-time visibility across the pipeline, while role-based access and full audit logs support compliance and scalability.

Impact

The platform provides a single, structured system intended to reduce reliance on manual, email-driven workflows for both customers and MediMoney’s internal team. As the platform is rolled out and adopted, administrative effort is expected to be minimal, and applications can move through the process efficiently with accuracy improved by ensuring cases are complete and correctly prepared before reaching lenders.

Internally, the platform provides real-time visibility across applications, lender interactions, and outcomes, supporting more informed decision-making and reporting. It establishes a consistent broker process and a scalable digital foundation that can support future enhancements such as onboarding additional lenders, richer analytics, and AI-driven insights.
